12V DC-DC Charger for Water-Fed Window Cleaning Vans

The AMC121230 is a 12V battery-to-battery (DC-DC) charger designed to charge a secondary (leisure) battery from a vehicle’s 12V electrical system. It is commonly used in water-fed window cleaning vans where a separate battery powers the pump and controls.

Application

Modern vans fitted with Euro 5 / Euro 6 engines use smart alternators and stop/start technology, which reduces or varies charging voltage. This charger provides a controlled, consistent charge to the leisure battery despite these voltage changes, ensuring reliable operation of water-fed systems.
